Baked Apples with Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • One or more apples
  • Unsalted butter
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Core apples and leave the peel on
  • Place a piece of butter inside the apple.
  • Sprinkle some cinnamon onto the apple if you think your baby will like it. (Maybe a few apples with and a few without cinnamon.)
  • Place in a shallow baking or roasting pan with a bit of water (about 1-2 inches of water).
  • Bake in a 400F (175 C) oven for 30 minutes or until tender; be sure to check on the water level.
  • Or you can try baking them in the micro oven if you are short of time. 5 minutes approximately for 4 apples. No water in the bowl. (Just remember that micro ovens tend to destroy vitamins, so if you have time, use the regular oven.)
