Craft Brewer Captures National Sentiment with New Pilsner

The name isn't subtle.

Ale Asylum has been making craft beer in Madison, WI since 2006.

On April 6th, the company made an unexpected addition to its 2020 release calendar, the FVCK COVID Pilsner

The brewery not-so-sneakily teased the new brew during a virtual brewery tour to celebrate New Beer's Eve (the day before National Beer Day).

"Never in my lifetime would I expect to witness something of this nature, but to also experience the sheer totality of each and every way this affects our staff, our community, and my family. The name may not be subtle, but it succinctly captures exactly how we (all of us) feel about this moment. Also, hoarders," said Ale Asylum Co-Founder Otto Dilba

Dilba will donate a portion of the proceeds to support frontline workers at area hospitals.

Right now, it looks like the 12 oz. FVCK COVID six-packs are only available in Wisconsin, but let's hope that changes, because the rest of the nation is feeling the same way.
